Balance Your Life
Tips for Your Dosha

britabins
If you took last month's dosha quiz, now find out how to for balance your particular dosha. (If you didn't take the quiz yet do it now -it takes less than 5 minutes!)

Balance Vatta
Balance Pitta
Balance Kapha

If your results show that you're bi-doshic (or even tri-doshic), read the suggestions for each dosha, and then think about how that works for you personally. For instance, if you are a Vatta-Pitta type, you may find that the cruciferous foods for Pitta, like broccoli and cabbage are hard to digest. So, eat these foods in smaller quantities, avoid having them raw,  and lean more towards the Vatta-pacifying vegetables like leafy greens, carrots, asparagus and summer squash.

Yoga Poses for Spring
Increase Your Energy Naturally

From an ayurvedic perspective, spring is the season associated with Kapha dosha, and the elements of water and earth. When in balance, we can feel grounded, stable and loving: when out of balance, we might feel tired, sluggish and heavy.

Try these three yoga postures to balance kapha.
